Overview
Lightspeed's gift card Lookup tool can search by customer name, email, or Lightspeed gift card serial number for gift cards sold on Shopify.
This tool can be found by navigating in Lightspeed to Customers > Gift Cards.
NOTE: When a Shopify gift card is sold and added to your POS, the shipping name on the Shopify order is attached to the gift card.
Step-by-step
Navigate in Lightspeed to Customers > Gift Cards
Enter the customer name or the gift card serial number provided by the customer
Verifying with multiple gift cards
In cases where your customer has been issued multiple gift cards, you can open the gift card number in Lightspeed to see the last four digits of the Shopify gift card serial number located in the Notes.
You can verify the last four digits of the gift card's serial number by using the email your customer received from Shopify Plus.
If the customer does not have their email available, you can check Shopify's gift card Lookup by navigating in Shopify to Products > Gift Cards. Search by customer name, or last four of the Shopify gift card serial number.
