Overview

The required product "No Product Found" is added to an Order, Invoice, or Sale when a Shopify order references a product that is not properly linked between your POS and Shopify. Using the "No Product Found" product allows the uploaded transaction to be completed and be financially balanced.

SKU is missing in your POS

If a SKU is not found, the "No Product Found" product is added in its place.

How to Fix

Note: Only choose one of the following options.

Most POS platforms do not allow edits to a completed transaction. You will need to complete an exchange if you need the transaction history in your POS.

  1. Updating Order If you are using an order workflow, you can usually replace the "No Product Found" product with the correct product before you create an invoice. This is a common workflow if you offer preorders.

  2. Exchange If you cannot edit the product on the invoice or sale, complete an exchange within the POS for the correct product.

  3. Adjust Inventory Using either an adjustment or an inventory count, edit the product's inventory in your POS by the quantity sold.
