Mortar is compatible with Shopify POS

Mortar is fully compatible with Shopify POS. Orders created through Shopify POS will be added to your in-store POS, just like any other order source.

Mortar integrates seamlessly with Shopify and Shopify POS. When an order, refund, or exchange is created through Shopify POS, Mortar automatically downloads and creates them in your in-store POS to keep your inventory in sync.

Note: Grow plan is required for Shopify POS compatibility since Shopify POS uses Shopify Order Edits and Exchanges.

What is required to use Shopify POS?

To ensure your inventory is accurate when using Shopify POS:

  • Enable all Shopify shops with a matching in-store POS location in your Mortar settings.

Step-by-step

Navigate to Mortar > Settings in your Shopify apps and repeat the following for each location:

  1. Click edit (right side)

  2. Select a POS source location and register

  3. Turn on sync inventory to this location

  4. Press save

    Make sure that Snyc inventory to this location is active for all locations
