If you create test orders to see how transactions on Shopify appear in your POS, you should reverse the financial impact. You can reverse the impact using Returns, order edits, and cancelations which are easy to complete in Shopify.

Mortar automatically creates returns in your POS for refunded or canceled Shopify orders. These returns will "neutralize" the financial and inventory impacts of the test orders.
