Overview

Mortar Action for orders and refunds

When Mortar syncs a Shopify order to your POS, it creates a shortcut to view the POS copy of the order. You can view any synced Shopify order in your POS by using the "View in POS" action right from the order in Shopify. If the order was split to multiple locations in your POS, you will see all of the order splits.

No order displayed?

If the View in POS button does not successfully display the linked order(s) in your POS, this usually means:

  • The order is from before activation and was created before the Minimum order created date time.

  • The order was canceled before it could be synced.

  • The order is for an unmapped location. These will not be created.

  • The order is very recent and is in the process of being synced. This usually takes a minute or so.

  • Lastly, the order experienced an error and could not be created in your POS. This may require contacting Mortar support for troubleshooting help.
