Updating Shopify product details - Lightspeed (X-Series)

To optimize your workflow, you can configure how product and variant details update from Lightspeed (X-Series) to Shopify.

Overview

Mortar can control exactly which product and variant details update to Shopify. Configure each product detail to optimize your product management process between Lightspeed and Shopify.

Note: To protect existing product details in Shopify, all Mortar accounts are initially configured to only update inventory.


On higher-tier plans, your team can manage product information in Lightspeed OR Shopify based on what works best for the team. For instance, if your team prefers to manage tags exclusively in Shopify, Mortar can be configured to never update the tags attribute in Shopify. This way, your team never has to worry about their hard work being overwritten.

Each of these POS attributes is mapped to a corresponding Shopify product & variant attribute.

Settings

Updating Product Details

Location: Accumula Apps > Apps > Shopify > Scroll to Products & Variant

Note: Updates are not retroactive.

Be sure to adjust your Product & Variant settings before making changes. If you make changes in Lightspeed before turning on an update setting, the change will not be sent. If this happens on a small scale, press Save on the item. If on a large scale, you can request a bulk resync of your account by contacting your Customer Success Manager or Mortar support.
